K Magic was born out of a news report that came out on ABS-CBN's TV Patrol when a woman developed red rashes and breakouts all over her face and body after using a skin care product she bought online. Ms. Korina Sanchez spearheaded an investigation and had the products tested. It was revealed that the products' claims were fake, these contained mercury and was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Korina's investigative report won her the Silver Medal in the New York Film Festival and all the awards for Best Documentary in the Philippines. The company that produced the fake products without FDA approval was shut down as a result.

As a Broadcast Journalist for over 30 years, layers of makeup were a staple under the harsh studio lights. Korina was fortunate to have met a lot of skin professionals who helped maintain her complexion. At 56, she still has skin that is visibly clean and clear. With over 4 million social media followers and growing, the one question always asked of her was:

Thus, K Magic was born.
