Mother of Twins at 56 to Pepe and Pilar
As one of the most influential figures in the Philippines, Korina Sanchez has garnered a lifetime of achievements as a pioneer in the field of Broadcasting. Her indefatigable sense of work ethics and indomitable spirit to delivering the truth in news has established her as among the most credible broadcasters to be recognized in the Philippines, earning her the prestigious Ka Doroy Broadcaster of the Year Award in 2012.
She was the Chief Correspondent for the Integrated News and Current Affairs Division of ABS-CBN Corporation airing on TV Channel 2, AM Radio DZMM and cable TV ABS-CBN News Channel. She also has a regular column in The Philippine Star entitled That Does It, as well as a Tagalog column entitled K Ka Lang in its sister newspaper, Pilipino Star Ngayon.
She is married to Senator Mar Roxas who was also the former Member of the House of Representative in Capiz, the 26th Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry, the 38th Secretary of Transportation and Communications and the 24th Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government. He is also the grandchild of the First President of the Independent Third Philippine Republic, Manuel Roxas.
Together, they share children Paolo, twins Pepe and Pilar born February 12, 2019 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
